What exactly is Haltiavuori?
Haltiavuori Cabin & Glamping is a peaceful hideaway nestled in the heart of the Finnish archipelago, offering nature lovers a unique place to unwind, explore, and reconnect with the natural world. The retreat consists of two distinct areas: the main Haltiavuori site, featuring a Tentsile tree tent and a glamping tent set among dramatic seaside cliffs and a sandy beach — and the charming cabin “Lilla Villa,” tucked away just 300 metres inland in a sheltered spot, surrounded by open fields and forest edge. Together, the two areas span 5 hectares of serene, unspoiled landscape, each offering its own atmosphere of calm and connection to nature.
What kind of accommodation is available?
We offer a few different accommodation options, each with its own unique charm.
The traditional log cabin “Lilla Villa” sleeps up to five guests and sits on its own peaceful 2,5-hectare property, surrounded by fields and forest. It includes a cosy wood-fired sauna and private access to the Haltiavuori beach area.
At the main Haltiavuori site, you’ll find a Tentsile tree tent, a unique and elevated camping experience for two adults. Our spacious glamping tent offers comfort under canvas, featuring two king-sized air mattresses — perfect for couples, friends or small families.
For those seeking a more rustic experience, you’re also welcome to spend the night in our traditional lean-to shelter, embraced by nature and open skies.
Are there eco-friendly toilet and shower facilities on site?
At Lilla Villa, you’ll enjoy the comfort of a fully equipped indoor bathroom with a water toilet and shower — perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors.
At the Haltiavuori glamping area, the focus is on a more authentic, nature-connected experience. A dry composting toilet blends ecological responsibility with simplicity. While there is currently no traditional shower, plenty of fresh, clean water is available for refreshing yourself in harmony with nature.
A gas-heated outdoor shower will be introduced for the 2026 season, designed with sustainability and low-impact living in mind.
Can I bring my pet?
Well-behaved dogs are welcome!
We’re happy to host your four-legged friends — just let us know in advance when making your booking. Please note that any damage or excessive wear caused by pets is not considered normal use and may result in additional charges.
To ensure a safe and peaceful environment for all guests and local wildlife, dogs must be kept on a leash at all times when outside the fenced yard of the cabin. Within the fenced area of Lilla Villa, dogs can roam freely under supervision.
What activities can I enjoy during my stay?

Can I access both the cabin and the glamping area, or do I need to choose one?
Guests who book the glamping tent or Tentsile tree tent at Haltiavuori do not have access to Lilla Villa or its private yard, as the cabin area is reserved exclusively for cabin guests.
Guests staying at Lilla Villa have full access to the Haltiavuori glamping area, including the beach, rowboat, paddleboard, sauna, and other shared equipment for a small extra fee. It’s the perfect combination of cosy cabin life and outdoor adventure. Please ask for more info.
To ensure privacy and a peaceful atmosphere, there are never multiple guest groups on the property at the same time — your booking includes exclusive use of your chosen area.
